Its me again. I have some things to let you people think about.
Well, we will be playing as a section and as a band in every combined practice. I hope you will put all your differences aside and concentrate on making music together. No conflicts in this section please.
Also, if you really cannot cope with your studies, there is such a thing call time management. Everyday, I am able to do finish all my homework or MOST of my homework and I usually still got time to play and relax. Its just a matter of how you use your time. My P6 form teacher once told me, "It is my pleasure to give you pressure, but it is my pressure to give you pleasure. You have to step out of the comfort zone and push yourself in order to succeed!"
Our section usually have 100% attendance and that is commendable. Keep it up! :D
Well, as you can see, our section got a lot of things to work on. I hope all of you can give me (your SL) the fullest cooperation and don't let this blog dies. (Well, even if the blog is dying I wont let it happen) This few upcoming weeks will also test your stamina and endurance. Please drink a lot of water and get yourself hydrated.
Also, I would like all of you to respect Mr Lum, Ms Caneda, Mr Gan and all other bandsmen especially the Drum Major(Jian Ying), Band Major(Guan Chin), Assitant Drum Major(Nicholas) and Secretary(Wan Ting). They are the people that lead the band.
Treat the Band Major as a Band Major and not like some other people else. Please cooperate with them. Remember to keep your volume down and not talk unnessarily during band practice.
One last thing I wish to add in, I hope you people will enjoy the 4 or 5 years in this band and in beatty secondary. My P6 form teacher also told me, "Leave this school with tears of happiness and not with regret." I hope all of you leave this school feeling proud of what you have done to contribute to the band. Don't wait until you are older then you start to regret. "Why no do this? Why no do that? Why never work harder last time?"
Whatever things I posted today, I mean it seriously.
